Yes, in the New Church there is actually discussion on whether non-Catholics might be allowed to receive Catholic sacraments. For those who are not aware, since 1964, the Novus Ordo Vatican has already permitted reception of certain sacraments for certain non-Catholics under certain circumstances. This is also confirmed in the news story: "This assertion on intercommunion does not exclude that, under special circumstances and with respect for the objective conditions, one may admit to the Eucharistic communion, as [pilgrims' bread], individual persons belonging to Churches or ecclesial communities that are not in full communion with the Catholic Church." On another note, has anyone told "Cardinal" Scola that Anglicans and Protestants have an invalid "Eucharist"? That Catholics do not believe the same things about the Holy Eucharist as Anglicans and Protestants do? That Catholics believe in the Holy Mass as a sin offering and Protestants only in a memorial meal?
