A perplexed Novus Ordo struggles to understand…

The Vatican and the Muslims

This is a very informative video, produced by a decorated veteran and former intelligence analyst for the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff who is also an expert in Islamic law. He looks at “Pope” Francis’ recent “Interfaith Prayer for Peace” event that took place in the Vatican Gardens on Pentecost Sunday, June 8, 2014, at which a Muslim imam prayed in Arabic for “victory over the infidels.”

Evidently a Novus Ordo of good will, retired Maj. Stephen C. Coughlin, Esq., is someone who, unlike many of the Novus Ordo apologists and bloggers out there, is not refusing to use his God-given intellect to analyze what is coming out of the Modernist Vatican. Despite his best efforts, however, he simply cannot square it with what he has retained of basic Roman Catholicism.

Utilizing his vast knowledge of Islamism and a good dose of common sense, Maj. Coughlin examines the Vatican’s interfaith prayer event and convincingly explains that, based on the testimony of Islamic sources themselves, Muslims are permitted and exhorted by their religion to engage in these kinds of “ecumenical” and “interreligious” activities, not, however, for the sake of “dialogue” and “mutual understanding” but for the advancement of the Muslim religion, even if it means employing deceitful means.

It is refreshing to see such a sincere and matter-of-fact analysis by a member of the Novus Ordo Sect who is deeply concerned about what is going on, yet who is by no means a traditionalist but a self-confessed promoter of ecumenism and dialogue. Coughlin simply refuses to check his brain at the door and give a blanket endorsement to everything coming from the Vatican, because he knows what a great danger the Muslim religion presents, and how different the Muslim god is from the True God.

In this Maj. Coughlin distinguishes himself from the Novus Ordo apologist crowd, which often vehemently opposes objections to interfaith events (see, for example, our recent spar with Tim Haines of Vericast on Twitter) on the grounds that we just “don’t get it”, that the Vatican has it all together, and that Muslims praying in the Vatican is somehow a good thing.

Oh, really? In the above video, Maj. Coughlin demonstrates quite convincingly that it is nothing of the sort. Besides, ISIS leader Abut Bakr Al-Husayni al-Qurashi al-Baghdadi’s recent exhortation to Muslims to “conquer Rome”obviously lends further credibility to Coughlin’s concerns.

One caveat: At one point in the video, Maj. Coughlin refers to Peter Abelard. We wish to caution our readers regarding Abelard, who, though he died reconciled with the Church, held a number of erroneous opinions, some of which savored of heresy, and which were condemned by Pope Innocent II and St. Bernard of Clairvaux (St. Bernard, by contrast to Abelard, was later declared a Doctor of the Church by Pope Pius VIII).

The Novus Ordo Church — which most people believe to be the Catholic Church — has long bowed before Islam and declared that they worship the true God. In this photo below, dated May 14, 1999, “Saint” John Paul II kisses the Koran, the Muslim “holy book” which contains unspeakable heresies and blasphemies:

Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope” Francis) has shown himself to be a strong advocate of Islam. In July 2013, he told Muslim refugees that he trusted that their observance of Ramadan would grant them “abundant spiritual fruit”, and in January 2014, he encouraged them to use the Koran, adding that the “faith” their parents instilled in them “will always help you to move on.”

There we have it: The Vatican endorses the Muslim religion and confirms these poor souls in their errors, rather than preaching the Gospel to them, the Redemption wrought by Jesus Christ (cf. Mk 16:15-16).

Wisely did Pope St. Pius X warn of a “great movement of apostasy being organized in every country for the establishment of a One-World Church which shall have neither dogmas, nor hierarchy, neither discipline for the mind, nor curb for the passions, and which, under the pretext of freedom and human dignity, would bring back to the world (if such a Church could overcome) the reign of legalized cunning and force, and the oppression of the weak, and of all those who toil and suffer” (Apostolic Letter Our Apostolic Mandate, 1910).

And wisely did St. Paul prophesy that in the end, “God shall send [us] the operation of error, to believe lying: that all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity” (2 Thess 2:10-11).
